I. The Function of an Ozone Generator

Ozone is a gas with bactericidal effects, rich in oxygen and various trace elements, and can effectively eliminate viruses such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Escherichia coli, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Salmonella typhi from water.

In addition, the water we commonly drink in our daily lives falls into three main categories: First, raw water—during disinfection, this type of water is treated with bleaching powder, whose active ingredient is chlorine. Through a series of chemical reactions, chlorine combines with organic substances in the water to form chloroform, a potent carcinogen. Moreover, raw water can become contaminated during transportation by various factors such as pipes, water tanks, and water towers, picking up chemicals, viruses, and bacteria along the way. Second, boiled water—the kind we drink every day—but the concentration of the carcinogenic substance chloroform in boiled water generally increases as the water temperature rises. Furthermore, boiling water tends to produce significant amounts of scale and alkaline deposits, which can lead to the formation of kidney stones in the human body. The third type of drinking water is purified water. Research has shown that while purified water effectively removes bacteria, viruses, and various impurities from water, it also strips away trace elements that are beneficial to human health; therefore, it is not advisable to consume purified water over long periods.
